Univ of Scranton Arrupe award to Kino Border Initiative
(Washington, D.C.) May 5, 2013 — The University of Scranton presented the Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Award for Distinguished Contributions to Ignatian Mission and Ministry to the Kino Border Initiative last month. KBI was inaugurated in January of 2009 by six organizations from the United States and Mexico.

June 26, 2012 - The U.S. Jesuit Conference, Jesuit Refugee Service/USA and the Kino Border Initiative welcome the Supreme Court's decision to strike down three key provisions of Arizona’s controversial immigration law, S.B.1070. In doing so, the Court correctly recognized the federal government’s constitutional authority to regulate immigration.

Kino Border Initiative serves a need
